Tattered Cover Free Movie Classic: Beat the Devil, June 2
An eccentric, even mind-boggling satire of The Maltese Falcon with Humphrey Bogart, Jennifer Jones, Peter Lorre, Robert Morley and Gina Lollobrigida. When you get down to it, the film makes little sense, but it's great fun to watch. Directed by John Huston, written by Huston and Truman Capote. Saturday, June 2, at 7:00 pm, at Starz Film Center.

BIg Bugs Exhibit, now through June 24
Get a bug's eye view of the world when you encounter a 1,200-pound praying mantis, a 7-foot assassin bug and eight other enormous eco-sculptures at the Big Bugs exhibit, March 24-June 24. The grand opening on Saturday, March 24 will be a free day for visitors.
