The apartment search that led to an apartment company.

In the 1980s, our founder, a young Grant Barnhill, was trying to find a nice apartment to rent near downtown Denver — the problem was, there weren’t any — oh there were apartments, just nothing clean, new and cool. There was nothing unapartment-like.

So Grant invented Boutique Apartments. He and his partner Zvi rescued neglected buildings all over Capitol Hill, renovated them from the ground up to be clean, new and very cool. Want to read what others have said?

While Boutique Apartments continued to grow, Grant, Zvi, and the team decided it was time to take the same plan and apply it to condominiums — for our apartment residents who might be ready to own a home. And for anyone else who wants a great place with great, energy saving features at a great price.
